Memorable Cliffside Door County Engagement Session

This Door County engagement session was definitely one for the books. Amelia, Daniel, and I had been chatting for a few weeks working to plan their cozy, fall photo session. We had decided to meet up towards the end of the day in a stunning park to take some golden hour photos on the cliffs of Lake Michigan. But really, nothing ever goes according to plan. 

About 15 minutes after I arrived, I got a text from Amelia letting me know that their tire had blown while driving into the park. I immediately hoofed it out to the park entrance and found Amelia and Daniel on the phone trying to track down an open tire store in the area. Apparently, a Sunday when there is a Packers game on is not the time to blow a tire because, after about an hour of trying, we were resigned to the fact that the car would not be getting a new tire that day.

At this point, I was getting a bit nervous because the light was going to start to fade soon and both Amelia and Daniel were, understandably, flustered. Honestly, I had zero reason to worry. Amelia and Daniel were amazing. They leaned on each other to calm down and even ended up joking around about how nice it would be to stay in a local hotel that night.

Amelia and Daniel rallied like champs and spent their session cuddling each other, stealing kisses, laughing, and finding joy and comfort in each other. This cliffside Door County engagement session is truly a testament to Amelia and Daniel’s love.
