My camera is how I connect with the world around me.

I am my most comfortable when I am outside with a camera in my hands. When I pick it up, I become a more confident and complete version of myself. It’s that feeling that I want to share with the people that I photograph. When I can make them feel as whole in front of my camera as I feel behind it, I know it’s been a good day.

Crinkly nose smiles and dirty hems

I have no interest in capturing you in perfectly posed positions. Your relationship is imperfect and messy and absolutely beautiful. That is the relationship that I want to capture for you. It rained on my wedding day and my favorite pictures from that day are the ones that show me with dirt on my hem, bare feet and so completely in love. It is these authentic moments that show your true selves. It is the little, true things that make your relationship unique and it is those things— the way your nose crinkles when you smile or how you snort when you laugh — that I want to capture.
